Building Schools, Building Hope

A volunteer-run, non-profit organization, we have built five schools in deserving communities in Mali, West Africa. Explore our website to learn more about the schools and how you can help us build more!

Host an Event!

You can help us build schools in Africa! Like the 7th grader in Rochester, NY who gave presentations at her school. Together, she and her classmates raised $1630.56! Or two teenagers from Portsmouth, New Hampshire, who raised $10,000 in one summer.

Consider hosting a bake sale, car wash, cocktail party... We've been incredibly fortunate to receive donations from schools, churches and individuals. Fund-raising ideas have ranged from bake sales, car washes, and spaghetti suppers to a young woman who ran a marathon and raised $1,000 in pledges from family, friends and co-workers. Our organization is volunteer-run, so whatever you donate goes 100% toward the project. Deductions to Build a School in Africa are 100% tax deductible. If you’d like more information, you can download a printable brochure, or contact us for information, photos, music, or a presentation. In the Boston area, or in the Bay Area in California, we may be able to send a speaker to your event!
